Picnic Roast

The Picnic Roast is the portion of shoulder just below the Boston Butt. It makes great pork BBQ.

All Picnic Roasts are packaged with bone in. This adds great flavor when preparing.

Size options are:

Half - 3.5 to 4.0 lbs
Small - 7 to 7.9 lbs
Medium - 8.0 to 8.9 lbs
Large - 9.0 to 9.9 lbs
XL - 10+ lbs

All of our pasture pork products are raised in Lincoln County in woodlots/pasture. Our pigs get to browse on natural protein sources like hickory nuts, walnuts, acorns, beech nuts, and other forest items. 

Our pigs are given no growth hormones and only get antibiotics if there is a health emergency (twice in 10 year's time). 

All pork cuts are processed locally at a USDA facility in Charleston and vacuum sealed. All smoked products are smoked naturally and not injected with smoke flavor.
